A really good product let down by some small installation details. Firstly, there is no clearance behind the cabinet for a power cable - if the cable doesn't happen to come out of the wall exactly where the inlet grommet is, you can't fix it flat to the wall. I used some rubber electrical grommets to space it off the wall. Secondly, there is no connector on the demister cable, so it's impossible to remove the door to make installation easier. Thirdly, if you are unfortunate enough to try removing the door, it's on three hinges which are almost impossible to line up simultaneously to clip it back on - two hinges would have been more than adequate. Minor niggles, easily rectified, but still amazing value for money.

Nice mirror cabinet, like the touch light. Not easy to align the 3 different mirrors. instructions did not reflect the pyrus 650x600mm model hinges so was difficult to work out how to adjust correctly and get mirror door in situ.

Customer service is excellent. The bathroom cabinet does what it says on the tin - it provides mirrors, lights, a shaver socket and decent internal storage on two shelves (plus the base). For those who want permanent use of a shaver socket - such as for a water flosser - this is one of the few cabinets to have this on the outside. For anyone installing a new cabinet or replacing one of another make or model this is a worthwhile buy and I'd have no hesitation recommending it. But I bought this as a replacement for my previous Pyrus cabinet, same manufacturer, supplier and model name, where after some years the silvering on the edges of the mirrors had corroded. I expected it to be an easy swap in. Unfortunately it has proved to be anything but the case. First the positive - the old flourescent tubes behind the side mirrors have been replaced with LED panels, which seem to give more light. But small changes in manufacturing are less positive. Not only are the four fixing holes in the back of the cabinet more widely spaced than on the previous Pyrus model, meaning new holes have to be drilled through tiled walls, but they are simple circular holes; the previous model had elongated slots allowing for some adjustment when fixing to the wall. Additionally the connector between the incoming mains and the internal electrics is now towards the bottom right of the cabinet whereas on the previous Pyrus model it was towards the top right. This may not sound much but in my case the mains lead is no longer long enough and I'm going to have to extend it. As there isn't sufficient space behind the cabinet to bring the wire down behind I'm going to have to cut a hole in the cabinet to feed the wiring through the cabinet cavity behind the right hand mirror. All of these are solvable, if irritating, problems and do not detract from the overall quality and value for money of the cabinet but I feel the changes are sufficient that this should not be sold with an inference it is the same as the earlier Pyrus model so either a different name or calling it Pyrus II would have been helpful. At least then someone in my position would be forewarned to anticipate changes from the earlier model.
