“Not good. Its fiddly and when you have to replace the batteries it would be a nightmare. The lights didn't work when we first put the batteries in. We have returned our mirror.”
“Mirror looks great in our bathroom,arrived in a box packaged in a box, the mirror was packed with foam around all edges/front and back, also had 4 metal L shape pieces to protect the corners from damage.The packaging was very well thought out and did a good job of making sure no damage in transit.
The back of the mirror looks a little cheap I expected every thing to be concealed but this is not the case with this mirror, you can see all the wires coiled up and clipped to back of mirror, you can also see the 2 strips of LED lights, it would of been very easy to add a rear cover as there are two metal brackets that run from top to bottom one on left the other on right,
Hanging the mirror was very easy measure the two holes in back of mirror and drill the correct size holes in wall where you want to place the mirror plug and screw the two screws provided into holes, you can now hang the mirror on the screws using the holes in the brackets on rear of mirror, there are instructions easy to follow.
You need to remove the mirror from the wall to replace batteries but this is a simple process of sliding the mirror upwards and out from wall, to replace is just as easy, no big deal takes a few seconds to take down replace and put back up
The one down side to this mirror was no motion sensors( I am aware it does not say it has a motion sensor but it makes sense to have one ) it only has a rocker switch for On or Off, there are more expensive Mains powered mirrors that have a sensor function so why not add this option to the Battery powered Mirror ?
I solved this problem myself by adding my own sensor I purchased for £5,It took five minutes to make the adjustment.
Now it is left switched On ( Can be turned off as still has on/off switch ) when you enter the bathroom the LED comes on automatically for 1 minute ( Can be increased up to ten minutes ) makes the LED lights much more functional and gives the sense it was more expensive.
For the price I paid this is a very good mirror and I would recommend it to any one who does not want the hassle of getting an Electrician to wire a mains operated mirror up.
