“It was delivered on time and very well packaged. The cabinet itself is well built BUT HAS ONE MAJOR PROBLEM. THE TRANSFORMER FOR THE SHAVER SOCKET HUMS, so much so you couldn't go to sleep with it. Tried contacting Pebble Grey a few days ago but with covid -19 only taking emails and heard nothing back (yet?). Not holding my breath for a response as when you dig into their web site it says "humming transformers are not considered a problem". Not sure what planet they live on; but if you install something and then can't sleep because of the noise, I call that a problem!
My solution was to disconnect the transformer from the power; but you need some electrical understanding to do that. The lights still work so I can get some use from the cabinet; and it does look good. Sending it back would have been more hassle than it was worth.
Despite all that; I'd consider getting another cabinet from Pebble Grey BUT avoid one with a razor socket so as to avoid the issue. If it didn't have the humming issue they'd have got 5stars on all fronts.”
