“This mirror comes packaged in very substantial outer carton and the unit itself is reasonably well protected inside. However, on its long journey from China via warehouses etc. it seems that damage can still occur. I had to send the first one back for a replacement.
Looks good once in place. Easy enough to fit but beware, the positional dimensions given in the accompanying booklet for the drill the holes in the wall for fixings are wrong! (It does not come with a paper template included which seems an obvious and unnecessary omission). Electrical connections are simple but have to be done correctly (i.e. by a qualified person). It is certified for Zone 2 installation.
The annular light is very bright and is excellent for shaving, make up etc. It would have been nice if the LED light temperature could be adjusted to give the "warm / natural / daylight" range available in many competitor products. This one is fixed on "daylight". The hidden proximity switch at the bottom of the unit turns the light on and off with a wave of the hand.
There is has a rectangular demister heated panel set in landscape mode in the middle to upper part of the mirror. This is activated when the light is turned on, irrespective of whether or not it is needed.
To be fair, this is not an expensive mirror and I got this one during a sale offer so it was good value for money for what it is. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.”
“A quality mirror exceeding our expectations. We love the style and design of this mirror, it’s a little different from anything else we have seen and this appeals to us as it compliments the atmosphere that we wanted to create for our family and friends to enjoy when they visit. The design is wonderful with the light sitting around and in front of the mirrored glass and a hand free hidden sensor underneath at the base, also an anti fogging pad helps to keep the mirror clear after showering. The light is bright and cool and really does work very well in our dark shower room. We love our new addition to our home. We love this mirror.”
