“This litter clumps strongly but is quite expensive. I mix it with catsan clumping clay litter to make it go further. Usually 2 parts Everclean to 3 parts Catsan clay and mix them together thoroughly.”

“I used to use Tidy Cats litter, but Purina have unfortunately stopped making it. Prior to this, it was just too darn hard to find the blue label Tidy Cats, so I knew I had to find an alternative. I tried a few, but someone recommended Ever Clean, and they had used Tidy Cats prior, so I decided to give it a go. its very expensive, but I needed something that would live up to expectations! So I dived right in and spent $120 for 3 boxes of the scented multi-cats version. I use a 73 litre tub from Bunnings as a litter box. We have 2 cats, both boys, and one likes to dig a hole to China every time he needs to pee, so most of the litter ends up on the floor! smh It takes a lot to fill it, which is another reason I need a good quality litter.
As soon as it arrived, I cleaned out the tub because the litter Id been using was horrific! As soon as I poured Ever Clean into the clean tub, I knew I was going to like it! The scent was lovely, although a little bit stronger than I would have liked. After 2 days of using Ever Clean I KNEW Id found the right litter for us! Not only was the scent acceptable, but it clumped beautifully, clumps didnt break up when we scooped them, and there was little to no odors arising from the litter box! The only time we smelt anything was just as the kitties were pooping, or when we scooped some poop out of the box, and it only smelt until we bagged it. Overall 10/10, I was sold! :D
Jump ahead about 3 weeks, which is usually way past the time I would have used up 3 boxes with any other litter, and I still had half a box left! I decided to dump it all in to top it up, and order some unscented Ever Clean. I did that about a week later, and another week later I actually got to use some when I needed to top it up again. Im enjoying the unscented version as much, if not perhaps a smidge more, as the scented version. Im very happy! :D
Overall, both of the Ever Clean litters Ive purchased have excelled expectations, they both clump beautifully, and odor is never an issue in our home, which was a major requirement for us given the laundry is smack bang in the middle! Our cats both love it, tracking is minimal, and while the original multi-cat version left scent on our kitties paws, the unscented version does not. Ill be buying the unscented from now on, Im very happy with it! :D
Ive now been using the same Ever Clean in the same tub for over a month, and there is absolutely no need to dump it and start fresh. Even with Tidy Cats, I had to completely clean it out after about 6 weeks, but theres absolutely no sign of needing to do this with the Ever Clean. So what started off as a cringing purchase over the cost has actually turned into a time and money saving venture! :D There is absolutely no smell, no bits because clumps stay together, and my cats have never been happier. One scoop a day is all we need to keep all of us happy! :D
