“On its own, it has a little bit of a grassy flavor. Not bad, but not my favorite. However, I really like it with some added lemon (which turns it a lovely magenta). My 4yo niece also likes it with a lot of milk added. We did a science experiment with it to see what colors it would turn, and now she asks for "blue milk"”

Plus it is fun...add some acid (such as lemonade or citrus fruits) and it may change colors. It ranges in color depending on pH...beautiful blues to lovely purples.
