First, it has a "tea" flavor that isn't covered up with anything else; second, it is warming when you drink it; third, it is so smooth, not at all bitter. “I wanted to love these teas. The descriptions were beautifully written and the teas smelled wonderful but the taste was disappointing. The first cup was too weak so I adjusted the amount and the second cup was bitter. I’m still trying to find that perfect cup and will update my rating if I do.”
“This is a very solid cup of black tea with medium body. The jasmine is definitely floral- so if that is not something you like, I would skip this- it gives it a light astringency almost. It is however balanced by the vanilla essence that is added so it ends up tasting fine. This is a different enough blend that I don’t have anything exactly like it, so it is sort of unique, but not quite something that blows me away. And it was vanillaesque but not creme brûlée.”
