“I brewed in 3 oz. water to meet the sample baggie size, but it still didn’t steep as strong as I would like because the splash of milk added turned it a light blond rather than the chocolate brown I usually prefer. The cardamom and lemongrass are dominant, and this coconut chai tea improved with the adding of the other Plum Deluxe Coconut tea, Coconut A La Creme. It is a good spice chai which is in line with all the other very good chai blends found here.”
“Since I use neither creamers or sweeteners in my teas, I often taste teas differently than others. I like the spice in this tea but I would like a bit more coconut flavor. But that said, I would buy again.”
“I was really excited to try this chai because I love coconut. Unfortunately, it runs into the same problem I find with most chai tea: cinnamon. This blend tastes overwhelmingly of cinnamon to the point it covers over the other spices in the chai and I taste no coconut at all. Disappointing.”
