“Yes, it’s smoky. But the subtle flavors come through. I have to say the smokiness has not scared me off. I do add a touch of half & half. I was sent a small sample of this with a prior shipment and it convinced me to give it a try. I’m likin’ it.”
“Love, love, love this tea! It's my new "go to" that I can't live without. I love to drink it from an open cup/mug so I can smell the cozy campfire to the very last drop. That said, I'll drink it out of a travel mug (or any container, really!) if time/life doesn't allow for the slow, sweet savor of the aroma that is a cuppa Fireside Chat because it's delicious even if I can't enjoy the smell of every sip.
I've tried several smoky teas from a few other tea companies and this one is BY FAR THE BEST! It's just the right amount of smoke with a little bonus of sweet. It's amazing how the scent transports you to a cool morning/evening by the campfire. It doesn't make you think the house is burning down or taste like you're drinking a cupful of campfire ashes (like some of my other experiences with smoky teas), rather, it's just the subtle, warm feeling of sitting next to the fire sharing a sweet treat with family and friends.
Now, without further ado, I'm off to purchase a pound....or two....”
