“I love Earl Grey and this is one of the most unusual takes on an Earl Grey I’ve found. I’d never have thought of combining these ingredients, but the citrusy bergamot and the warming pecan notes make for a great contrast. The black tea used for this blend is robust and doesn’t get lost under all the other flavours.”
“I chose a blender's choice on my first order as someone new to tea, and told them to recommend me something they thought i might like as someone with a hankering for herbal and white teas most often, and was surprised and worried when this is what i received. but the note swore by it, so I couldn't NOT try it, you know?
At first, as a plain tea with just a mild sweetener, it's okay, but not my favorite. I'm predisposed to not be too attracted to the common taste of tannins in teas (look this up! you can have a genetic disposition towards disliking wine, coffee, or tea!) so another try with milk and I was blown away by just how good it was. I make my own bubble tea occasionally, with warm milk steeped purely in this tea, and then brown sugar boba added in. It's a match made in heaven, I highly suggest trying it as a base for all sorts of vehicles.
All I can say is, I may not be too fond of black tea but I will ALWAYS make an exception for this one. Blew me away!”
