“This tea is fine, but it just tastes like a cup of rooibos tea to me and I don't really pick up on the other flavors very well. And since I don't really like rooibos tea (maybe because it tends to overwhelm other flavors for me), this turns out to make it pretty disappointing. I thought I'd love it given the description, but I just didn't really pick up on the caramel flavor or the spices.”
“The mate taste which can be bitter and grassy alone is very much eclipsed by the variety of spice. The clove is dominant, and this brews well as a toddy. Just the tea to extend the Christmassy flavors; now I can enjoy the occasional eggnog year-round.”
