“This is my all-time favorite Earl Grey (and I've tried them all - PD and other brands). The lavender isn't too strong and just adds a slight floral note to the lovely citrus of the bergamot. Delicious!”
“I have enjoyed the delightful offerings of June’s Earl Grey tribute, delving in the flavors tropical, nutty, sweet Creme brûlée and vanilla that it has been a while since I’ve savored this lavender EG. I enjoy adding a pinch of lavender from my garden which is L. angustifolia and L. dentata but I must have the wrong variety because those lavender buds do not compare to the gentle floral in this tea. I wish Vista blend was strong in lavender like this because I doctor mine up with this sometimes. My growing tea collection may take me to other delights but I will continue to return to and enjoy this gentle soothing tea.”
“The first time I experienced this tea, I willingly drowned my senses in the lavender scent. Usually, I cut the dosage to 1:1 with another non-lavender earl grey and it still comes through. I have also added it to other blends like Vista which also has lavender, but sometimes I want a stronger floral note. It lends well to iced tea blends too. I personally prefer a more robust black tea base so I always add a pinch of brisk Heritage blend.”
