“Rangefinder fell 3 times during it's first round of golf and became damaged. Still works fine but cosmetically it looks worse than my old rangefinder I replaced.”
“I had a bushnell range finder for years, but it didn't have slope, so I bought the precision pro as an upgrade. I am not sure I am going to keep it. The Issues I have
1) I have to scan the flag several times. It will lock onto anything. A hill well behind the flag, a tree off in the distance, etc. So on a par 3 I have gotten number in the 200+ yards, 180, and the actually number 150. So what I do now is check a gps app to give me the range of numbers it could be. Then scan the flag a couple of time before I believe the results.
2) Case. The case is very protective but it is zippered all the way around. The bushnell had a case with a Velcro flip up top that that allowed easy access. You cant keep the unit in the case during the round.
3) Magnet on side of unit. The magnet is strong but I have run into 2 problems in 2 rounds. When attached to the metal frame of the cart I have accidentally hit it getting out of the cart. I then postioned it so that could not happen again. We will chalk that up to operator error. However the next round I had a gas powered cart that lurched into gear and it shook it right off. Both times it went bouncing off the cart path. How long until the electronics get damaged?
Slope: I am not sure I trust the slope numbers. So far they have not varied that far from the actually number. Even when I thought it should be more. I need to compare this with a bushnell unit with slope to see if they match. Just something that I need to verify.
I want it to work for me but I don't know if it makes sense to just spend more money to get around these issues.”
“After using my buddy's NX9 Slope, I went out and bought mine that night. So much better than my Bushnell. Easy to use. Connects on all types of pins (and traps and trees and wherever I want to hit too. Best purchase in a while!”
“I've been using the precision Pro NX10 slope rangefinder for about 6 weeks now and a very pleased with it. Overall. Bright viewfinder, lightweight, simple controls. I would give this rangefinder a five but the slope valued are inconsistent for some reason. (I'll post a revised review if I hear back from customer support about what could be going on for me.)”
“He was quite happy to see his UM colors in the range finder. He's put it in play already for several rounds and is delighted with the accuracy, the elevation feature is impressive. Loves that it has a magnet for ease of use off the cart frame. Very happy golfer!”
“Rangefinder is everything as advertised. It's fast, clear and accurate. I had to give it one star because it was missing the screws for the front plate. Submitted 2 tickets and 1 phone call and left message and nothing.”
