NX7 PRO SLOPE RANGEFINDER Reviews

I've had this model for several months now. As good as my bushnell with more features. Great price. I've also dealt with the company on a slope problem. Fixed immediately - no hassle.

Knowing the right number, and getting it quickly has improved my game. Oh yea and it's half the cost of a BN!

I bought this as a birthday gift after doing some extensive online research. He is an avid (former pro) golfer and is extremely happy with the gift. He uses it frequently on the course (I've tagged along to make sure) and he definitely recommends it.

I want to start off by saying that I usually do not post reviews and I'm usually very satisfied with my purchases, but I have been disappointed with the rangefinder. I was really looking forward to using this and I wanted to give it some time, in case there was an adjustment period. However, after 2 months of use, I have not been able to get an accurate reading. I'm not sure if there is some defect, but I can scan a distance multiple times and end up getting different readings or distances. This happens with both long and short distances. Just to make sure that it's not user error (myself), I've had my playing partners use the rangefinder and they've experienced the same frustrations, so we end up ultimately guessing on the distance.

After years of consideration, I finally bought my first rangefinder--NX7 Pro. I don't play as much as I would like to these days, but when I do, I want to have accurate info for my approach shots. The NX7 Pro has been easy to use; lightweight, clear readings, jolt technology, and adjusted slope readings, all for a very reasonable price. I couldn't have asked for more in my first rangefinder.

This is my first rangefinder. I was hesitant to buy one as I can normally estimate my yardage within two yards on any course as long as the yardage marker are accurate. The NX7 is a great lightweight tool that allows me to add or subtract yardage with the slope feature. I really like this tool and use it on every hole and every shot!

I am a professional caddie, having spent several years on the European Tour and LPGA Tour, two years at Bandon Dunes and now at Sand Valley. I've used both Bushnell and Leupold rangefinders in the past and can say that the GX7 Pro is every bit the equal of both. The measurements are spot on and it is lighter and more comfortable. Even if the GX7 was priced similarly to the more expensive Bushnell and Leupold products, it would be a worthwhile investment. The fact that the GX7 Pro is significantly less expensive makes the buying decision simple.....it's by far the best value in premium rangefinders.
