“First time around today with my Pro and there was also a Bushnell V3 in the group. Did ~25 comparisons from various distances and shot each flag at least three times. At times, the Pro showed up to four yards shorter than than the V3, but was never more than one yard longer. The Pro was much more consistent. When the V3 would show 149, 150, 152, the Pro would show 148.5, 148.9, 149.7. What I found interesting was that the shorter the distance the more likely there would be a larger difference between the two..”
“Great product! Love how it shows the distant and the distant taking into account any slope/height of the hole. It's a great tool to have on the course and really helps with my club selection. I haven't had any problems picking up the target in the scope either!”
“Quality construction, a very ergonomic and compact design. Has all the bells and whistles of much more expensive models (like the Bushnell Tour V4 and Leupold GX-4i2), including slope, pin-lock vibrating technology (or "jolt" as other brands call it), and quick distance reads...all at a much better price. Honestly, the NX7 Pro can't be beat when everything from price to functionality is taken into consideration!”
“This rangefinder works ever so slightly different than others in that once you press the button to turn it on, you have to press it again (not hold it like most other rangefinders) while aiming at the target. It explains this in the directions and it is very easy to use. It has a flag on the left side of the screen that blinks while it acquires the target. It takes less than a second to find the target and then it vibrates once the target is found. It displays both the standard yardage on the bottom of the screen and the yardage accounting for slope at the top of the screen. You can also turn the slope function off by simply pressing the mode button, which then makes it legal for tournament use. If you hold the mode button it will switch from yards to meters and vice versa.
It comes with a nice and solid carry case, a carabiner so that you can clip it to your bag, and a cloth to clean the lenses.
It also currently comes with a $50 rebate for the Pro version. For $200, I'm not sure why you would buy a Bushbell Tour V4. This does everything that the Bushbell does for a fraction of the price. It also comes with a 2-year warranty and free battery replacement for life (1 battery per year).”
“VERY easy to use - I was able to use one hand most of the time to capture the pin... no issues whatsoever.. It's easy to toggle back and forth between slope and non-slope mode as well. I purchased this unit because it vibrates when it finds the pin, and it does not disappoint.. Like another reviewer, it doesn't have as much "vibrate" as other brands, but it's enough and does the job quite well. I played my home course tonight and all yardages felt "right." I know that's not very technical, but after playing the same course hundreds of times it's easy to know the yardages and I didn't get any funky readings from the Pro (in either mode - slope/non-slope)... which is quite comforting. It's also small, lightweight, fits nicely in hand, and the case design is an added bonus.”
“Have used my NX7 Pro for a few rounds now. Was concerned about shaky hands and not the best vision anymore at 64yrs. Vision/clarity is absolutely no problem! Distances at 200+- yds (not that I am that accurate) required a couple tries at first to get a reading until I figured out how to use the TAG functionality and have not had any problems since. Great unit and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.”
