“Easy to use and the Frances are accurate. It can take some practice holding the cross hairs on target. The NX9 seems to have a higher power zoom lens than my previous range finder. This results in a more exaggerated tremor when viewing your target. You need to use two hands and rest your elbows on your body when shooting flags, especially if there is a tree or other object a short distance behind your flag. I became accustomed to this nuance within 2 rounds. Great value and performance. As to the free batteries? … The apparent savings will be partially offset by the postage charges”
“This was my first rangefinder and I have to say it works way better than expected. Picks up the target super quickly and is extremely accurate. Slope feature is easy to use and understand, and easily disabled for tournament play. Couldn't be happier.”
“It does everything as advertised.
Pros:
- Seemingly great price for the quality; other cheaper models likely don't provide the accuracy/durability (though I wouldn't suggest dropping this one, just in case...)
- Optics are great once you get it focused
- Large enough that it's hard to lose, but not hard to handle
"Slight" Cons:
- The "focus" out of the box and dialing it in took some time, but could have been more user-error than the product.
- I switched from a couple of generations of Leupold so the PPNX9 is a bit larger/heavier than I have been used to.
- I've never had a "magnetic" rangefinder, and have had to do a few doubletakes to make sure I didn't leave the NX9 somewhere on the course (when it was sitting at eye level on the side of the cart windshield bar.”
“Without question the NX9 wins ‘Best In Class’ . I’ve now purchased the first and second gen, recently bought one for a friend and they perform perfectly with outstanding feedback to confirm distance.
Don’t hesitate making a decision to buy your next Laser Range Finder from Precision Pro!”
