Process West Front Mount Intercooler Kit Silver Reviews

5 Rating 1 Reviews
If you wish to maintain your CAI inside the drivers side guard then this FMIC is a great choice. Silicone joiners and hose clamps are all high quality, larger joiners are provided for the throttle body piping as well making it simple. Pipework looks amazing, intercooler core and bracket fit well with minimal modification to the car, modifications that are always expected with FMIC. Pipe work was not a pain to install but depending on setup may be a hassle. Pipe work goes from the turbo outlet, under throttle body, down past the starter motor on passenger side, then underneath the passenger side head inbetween the motor and the front left CV, out into the core, then from out the core it wraps around and goes up inbetween the power steering reservoir and the timing covers on the drivers side, underneath the intake pipe (if you had Process West CAI) then up into the throttle body. This kit fits perfectly with the Process West CAI however it is definitely meant to be installed before the CAI, which I did in reverse order and made the job more difficult. Because of the placement of the IAG AOS on the passenger side where this kit’s pipe work routes it can be a bit difficult to install however with PSR’s new kit with the IAG AOS which has the hoses and fittings all dismantled allowing you to customise the hoses it will probably be much easier to work with. If you are going a different direction related with your intake which frees up the drivers side guard for intercooler piping, then another kit which follows the more standard routing may be a better choice as it keeps the pipe work out of the more tightly packed areas. I was very pleased with the kit and have no complaints with it
