“I bought these capsules on their first airing on Ideal World, and I've been using them now for longer than 10 years, I'm sure. I am 62 and I am frequently taken for being in my late forties, and I have thicker hair, good nails and best of all no wrinkles......simply expression lines!! I put all this down to Proto-Col. I have sometimes not repurchased, getting complacent I think, and I always see and feel a difference, so I come back for more. However, over the years I've had tendon problems in my right arm and then knee issues due to a fall, and they are greatly improved by taking these, 3 per night, but when I get flare ups, I double or even quadruple the dose, and it fixes the problem completely. I have now just moved on to the Sports Plus of these, as I find they are stronger and more effective for me. Once I have sorted out this latest flare up, which incidentally my Consultant wants to fix with surgery (NO, I REFUSE) I may return to a higher strength of these. The moral of the story is this: if you want to age gracefully and keep as pain free and active as possible, buy these and take them every night without fail! “I am sure this product is superb, unfortunately unless I can take as a powder, the gelatine capsules cause me irritation, is this possible, perhaps stir into a little water at night. Please can anyone help as I would love to continue.”
