“I started taking these a couple of years ago, partly for vanity, partly for strengthening bones in my 60s. The last packs I had left a bad taste as the capsule had an unpleasant flavour so I started to miss doses, until I stopped altogether for several months. However, I recently experienced nails breaking and when I put my mind to figuring out why, it dawned on me that stopping the collagen might be the reason. Supplements don't make an immediate difference so the benefits can only become evident when you stop taking them for a while.
