Once the Queen of My Pantry... Before Lime & Gin waltzed in with its boozy flavoured bravado, Quincey Jones’ Blackcurrant Jam was my undisputed favourite. Rich, bold, and deeply fruity, it’s like the velvet robe of the jam world. This jam doesn’t mess about. It's got that perfect balance of sweet and tangy, with real berry bite. Slather it on crumpets, swirl it through yoghurt, or just sneak it straight from the jar (no judgement here). While Lime & Gin may have stolen the spotlight, Blackcurrant remains a classic, reliable, luscious, and still very much jam royalty in my kitchen. Long live the (former) queen!

We grew black currents when I was young and ithey were the worst tasting food I could imagine. I decided to give the jam a go now that I’m an adult. I just love it, can’t get enough!
