It's thick enough to not have to wear a slip underneath yet fine enough that it drapes and moves beautifully. It washes really well and doesn't need an iron. It feels elegant and I've had many wonderful comments. It also arrived in lovely tissue lightly sprayed with a most wonderful scent which I now need to buy as I want all my clothes smelling like this.
