“I have owned this radio for a year now. In winter temperatures the LCD display is problematic in which the screen will not load. I have had the same issue in some other OEM radios in the past. However, the screen will keep trying to load for a series of attempts before just going blank with no further attempts to start. The only remedy to switch the ignition off for a period of time and restart, which isn't ideal for having a driving job and getting on the road first thing in the morning.
The radio itself I found is basic for normal terrestrial. With the DAB function being much more user friendly. The Android Auto function is excellent, with the display being adequate for use of maps.”
“Worried about buying a Road Angel car stereo as I have only ever know the main brands, like Sony but I thought I would give the Road Angel ago because if it was rubbish I would send it back. I have the car stereo fitted in my car now and i have been impressed with the quality. The screen really stands out the resolution is sublime, very clear and almost as good as my Samsung phone. 5* for the car stereo. Top stuff.”
