How did this kit help your students to discuss the idea of multiple perspectives? It was a great way to learn about different perspectives and why people may think the way they do.
How has this kit changed your perspective on teaching NZ History? I was always keen to teach NZ History but what I liked about this kit was the idea that not everyone's story about the same event is the same.
The kit was very user-friendly. The information contained in the kit leads the students to ask lots of questions and research further.

This kit was used on a combined year 4 to 8 class. They thoroughly enjoyed the kit. It encouraged them to look at another side of the story. Which tamariki found challenging but they had fabulous discussions around it.

How has this kit changed your perspective on teaching NZ History? It has defintely taught me how to approach this to a range of people and to enforce that there are two sides to a story! I learnt a lot and I have learnt some about the Treaty of Waitangi.
This kit was great! Very informative and it was great to explore another perspective to the Treaty of Waitangi. My students were so engaged and raised great questions about the treaty. Having the items there for the students to look and and touch and inquire about was amazing. Thank you so much!

How did this kit help your students to discuss the idea of multiple perspectives? The kit really helped to give the students an understanding of perspective. This can be very hard to do as often children have their point of view and to take on another can be difficult. The resources gave pictures and stories to allow the students the o

This kit was very intense, and actually became a bit much for our kids. It was incredibly well presented, and the information in it was fantastic. However, it quickly went over the heads of the students I had this year. They found it very difficult to understand all the different parts of the puzzle. They loved the ";Who stole my lunch"; activity. It did tie in well when we looked at our local history of Rangiriri and hearing the different sides of the story there.
