My class loved this kit. We are a year 2 class and were learning about electricity. The children loved the hands on learning this kit offered and the squeals of delight when a circuit worked was priceless!

Clear easy to follow instructions/guidelines, and the students were well engaged. Especially the boys. The boys enjoyed constructing the different circuits and challenged themselves by adding on to the circuits provided by the booklet. Great resource.

This was our third year getting the kits and some of our students were awesome experts with them. We had quite a Tuakana-Teina process with our kits this year which was great to see. The students each got their own set of equipment with their book and worked mostly independently after completing some tasks on a slide made by one of our teachers. Great kit as always! Really liked the make your circuit part this year which some students really enjoyed.

Thank you so much for a great resource. I have a year 4 class who loved the booklets and worked well independently and cooperatively. They problem solved to get the circuits working. It was fabulous to watch, the conversations and team work used from this wonderful resource.

The power it up kits were great. I have had the same class for 18 months and we tried last year with varying degrees of success. We found that it took a lot of patience to fold the copper tape etc for the circuits but they appreciated the outcomes. The children were quite lucky as this was there second time round in making the circuits. The girls in 2019 were a lot more patient and were able to make the lights power up. They ended up helping other children in different classes across the school. We did find that the buzzers from 2018 worked better than the 2019 ones (as I had kept the box from 2018). Overall a great learning experience for the students in Room 15. Thanks for the experience.

What a fantastic resource that teaches students hands on about electrical circuits. Combining the booklet with a Slide Show our syndicate was able to incorporate a range of learning activities that supported the booklet. Students loved problem solving and combining their prior knowledge to successfully complete the tasks. Students were engaged and worked collaboratively helping each other. Thanks School Kit &; Counties Power for another great kit.

The power it up kit was quite good the students enjoyed trying to do the circuits. Most needed help with the copper tape and a lot of the circuits didn't work which was disappointing for all the effort . It was quite fiddly and I struggled to get through all students as year 3 this was not an independent task for most. However the kit had everything we needed and the students enjoyed colouring the pictures and learning about electrical circuits.

Thank you for this great opportunity! I actually used this kit with a group of extension year 2 students and they had huge success! We were able to make some awesome Christmas cards for the children to take home and display. Thanks!
