“Thanks School Kit Squad. We unpacked our kit today and we had so much fun unwrapping our letter tiles, comparing, grouping and seeing what words we could make and putting them in alphabetical order.”
“I opened the junior literacy kit with my class today... and we spent an hour doing maths with it! Predicting what letter we’d have the most of, and then working out the results, and why we might have got so many of I compared to Q. Then predicting which character we had the most of, and tallying up. We didn’t have time for graphing, maybe tomorrow. So much fun and engagement, the students can’t wait to work with the tiles again :slightly_smiling: thanks School Kit!”
“My class was super excited to discover our kit had Disney tiles inside. We have loved using the fishing rods, bingo cards, shopping lists and sandwiches during our literacy rotations. We have even purchased some of the scrabble boards to make words. We secretly enjoyed swapping tiles and completing two sets of characters too!”
“Thank you so much for the amazing Disney letter tiles kit. My year 1s use them every day during literacy and maths. They are so engaged with them and they have since started their own shop and restaurant in the classroom.”
“We had great fun opening the Disney tiles, sorting, playing the games suggested and even adding our own twist. I can see that this will be a popular activity during literacy time this term. I can't wait to see what other ideas they come up with.”
“Room 1 at Holy Family School have had the most amazing experiences with the Disney tiles. I put a little call out for more tiles and we now have hundreds. Opening the packets has been so cool. This has meant we can all play the games at the same time. We love it! Thanks so much School Kit and Countdown. This is something that will use in the future.”
