What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? Story telling into history, we talked about Maori history and how nothing was written down until the pakeha so were the stories myths or history? We used the cards for story writing and the students merged this arts by creating plays which they performed.

“We loved this kit in our class. My students created comic strips telling the story of Wheke and they are hanging up all over our classroom. We've had some great discussions around when our family came to New Zealand and where they came from. We are still finishing our kit as Covid meant that we were a little behind with starting our kit in Term 2. I love the resources and felt really supported.”
