What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? We did lots of writing using the kit and also from the farm trip we organised at our local Mt Albert Grammar Farm. We also produced art work in the form of a mural. We did farm maths for addition and subtraction and made word finds for a fun activity.

How did you find the open format of this kit? The kit was really easy to use. The children were able to direct much of their own learning and the range of ideas and activities was great. It was effective for children of different abilities.

What cross curricular learning came about as a result of this kit? Students were really into it. Used it as part of our reading tumble in the classroom, spoke a lot about farm animals and they loved finding out where our milk for schools comes from!
