The children were excited to this kit. The task they loved doing was the planting of the seeds and watching them grow. They plotted the progress of their seeds so far, but is still a work on progress. They enjoyed applying for the club, because they said it made them feel important. The also liked playing the card match game which they played in groups. Receiving their badges and making healthy wraps was the best. This kit was awesome. Thank you School Kit

My class really loved taking part in this kit. There was a lot of learning for my new entrants, we had to learn to take turns, listen to instructions and wait patiently for our plants to grow. The excitement each day to see if our seeds had sprouted was infectious and there was a real buzz of wanting to grow our own food.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? Much improved particularly some of the less common. There was great excitement when the kit arrived. It is a NE/Yr 1 class and I found the kit well leveled for this age group. The children were engaged from the start as they aimed to earn their badges. We turned it into a game which was fun. We filled in the letter as a class - a bit tricky for this age group but done as a class it worked ok. I printed some jokes and read them out to the children so they could select them.
