Social Sciences - Our local environment, maths - statistics around gardens and native trees in our area, science - why the seeds needed to be scarified. We are still working on the kit...so there are more links to explore. eg Maths - looking at our birds

They are more observant - the Notice cards were cool - it has been super rainy so we didn't get to leave them out! The kids have been keen and attentive to our Kowhai seeds...possibly too attentive to watering...as the pots are mouldy...ooops.

Relevance to day to day kids lives. Relevance to world sustainability and climate change crisis. Fun and hands on.
