What was the community impact of your volunteering project? It was noticed by the wider community and inspired others to get involved. We cleaned up an area of beach using the supplied equipment which noticeably made a difference.

What was the community impact of your volunteering project? Our school's garden was upgraded which lead to increase awareness in sustainability / food resource. Our project also involved our local special school to have a new play area.

“This was a great way to get students talking about giving back to the community and different things people might need. They were super engaged when we talked about the SVA and the Christchurch earthquakes, this was highly motivating. Our final project was hindered by Covid but students still got involved in raising money for Starship. As it was a Y1-2 class students did need extra guidance and support with the project management side of the kit”
