“Due to disruptions and massive changes in our school programmes and planning catch up with other areas, sports catch up and unit introductions, I wasn't able to teach with this kit this term. However I fully intend to use this kit next year.”

“I’ve been using this kit as part of our STEAM program. The students are highly engaged and each week come to class with néw ideas for ingredients for their cakes. Winning combo this week subbing in 40 g avocado, grated fresh beetroot and cocoa.”

“Awesome kit which promotes some great questioning and exploration for alternatives in baking. The learners became aware that you don't have to always use sugar and eggs, there are other options if necessary. The teachers learned a few things too! The hands-on approach where the learners do the baking experiments was a huge hit. Kids and food, that's a winning combination! It was also inclusive as we were investigating alternative ingredients which was great for our learners with allergies or different dietary requirements.”

“This was an awesome kit. Manageable in a busy term 4 but children got plenty from it. They enjoyed cooking in groups and coming up with a substitute vege. The taste testing was fun and engaging.”
