ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“We find these to be much superior to the regular ScratchSleeves -- they do not slip off at night, and we feel much more comfortable putting our baby to bed for her naps and her night sleep wearing the Extended Mitts, as she is much less likely to abrade her face. The only thing I wish might be improved is the velcro fasteners -- these can have a tendency to collect lint/dust/etc and become warped in the drying machine, so it might be an idea to explore other types of fasteners (like pop buttons).”
