“I recently purchased the new Small Head, Square Drive #1, Stainless Steel, 65mm decking screws. They looked fantastic. However, even after pre drilling, counter sinking and using treated pine joists we had trouble with the driver bits burring out the head. Next time I will go back to the 9.5mm head with S2 driver.
