would prefer construction, batten, or decking screws with a shark tooth thread. Without the saw-tooth, I used my drill, leaving my impact driver to drive the screw head to level with timber face if required. Time will tell with the SS316 finish but I'm confident.”

“Screws are great, work just as advertised, unfortunately won't work for the application I had in mind, have you ever considered developing a smaller gauge screw, with a smaller head, for fixing light timber trims, mouldings to rendered brick work.
Ideally head no bigger than 5mm (small hole to patch) so maybe 6 gauge screw, 3mm pilot hole. Would be very handy. Thankyou”
