“I asked for a variation of a bundle of Gripr fixings. Done, no problem.
This is for future reference. I was mounting a mirror on a tiled wall and had to use black 70mm Griprs. I needed to tighten the fixing then release the bolt about 5mm to allow the brackets on the mirror to sit on the bolt. It took a lot of mucking around to get the bolt to be solid enough in the wall and allow the bolt to come out the 5mm required. I actually tightened the bolt against a 10mm window packer then removed the packer. The bolt sprung back 5mm to give me the remaining 5mm to hang the mirror. It would be good if there was a pan head bolt that has a collar that allows full tightening and provide 5mm for a bracket to hang mirrors and pictures. The hook version is too large.”
