“The fish has been intentionally well-salted, akin to re-hydrated bacalhau. I flaked the contents of the tin up (not wasting a drop of the beautiful oil) and mashed it up with some cold new potatoes. I spread this over 4 thin slices of good seeded rye bread, and shared this with my sister. We both agreed this was a deliciously savoury treat, a tin goes further than you might think as the product is so concentrated and intense in flavour. Consider this a fraction of the price of a starter in a restaurant, and consistently good - its a special, memorable treat.”
