“The Polycarbonate sheets work well. The secondary glazing is often used in older houses where frames are not square, uneven and with limited fixing points. It might be worth looking at developing ways of overcoming these problems.”

“It's fairly easy to use, and where I had mis-measured it was simple enough to cut down to size with a rotary saw. I didn't realise until too late that there was a "this side towards sun" label on it though, oops, so presumably some of my windows may look different from others after a few years?! The price from Secondary DIY Glazing was very reasonable, and the seller gave great communication - there was a missing parcel with one delivery, but they realised and sent it with next-day deliver, no fuss. I came back to order some more, and when the order didn't quite make sense they phoned to check rather than blindly going ahead. Poly sheet isn't quite as nice as glass, but for the budget price it's a huge improvement and I'm very glad that I bought it - I started with just a few windows, to see what it was like, then came back and ordered more. When I can afford to I'll be back again, as I gradually sort out the less-frequently used rooms in our house.”
