“Purchased direct from Ring at a good price. Easy to use with a display on charging voltage and bar graph for the state of charge. Have used to charge a coupler of different size batteries and does the job quickly. So far very pleased.”
“Having only used this once since purchasing I find it quickly and efficiently charged my battery on my C-HR Hybrid vehicle. It was necessary to buy a new battery charger as my present one is not adequate for charging the C-HR and has probably sustained damage by using it for this vehicle. I have discovered that low weekly milage deems it necessary to charge the 12v battery on a regular basis as onboard electronics drain the battery if the vehicle is not used regularly. This was not explained at purchase but I have since discovered that sales representatives are recommending that for drivers who do less than 5000 miles annually a hybrid vehicle is not recommended. The RSC806 would have been adequate for my requirements but as the prices for the two were the same I decided the RSC808 gave better value although I don't envisage using it at the 24v level.”
