“Bought to check tyres regularly without having to go to garages because of small rim leak (machines often out of action and charges). Used twice. Thoughts so far:
Pros: 1) I like the separate figures for target pressure and actual pressure - easy and clear. It is less obvious with others I have used which pressure is being displayed. 2) Clear display. 3) Cables fold away tidily. 4) The 12v plug for cigarette lighter socket is now the traditional style and works perfectly. 5) Quieter than others I have used.
Cons: 1) Bag for storage a little too snug!
On the whole, given only limited use, I like it and would buy again if it is durable.”
“It's always difficult to fully review an item when it's new because you don't know how relaible it will be long term. However, I am very pleased withy it so far as it does exactly what it's supposed to do very quickly and easily - I have both checked tyre pressures and top-up inflated them. It is well designed and the carry case is a nice extra touch. The unit is very stable when sitting on the ground and the power cable is easy to extend and rewind. The air hose is just long enough (perhaps a few more centimetres would be good ideally). There is a little recess to put the tyre cap in, but personally I prefer to put the cap in my pocket so it doesn't get lost. (The kit comes with 4 spare caps, which is nice). There are adaptors for inflating bicycle tyres, footballs, etc. but I haen't used thesde yet so can't comment on them.”
