“Since you keep asking me to review before I've barely used the item, 3 stars because it look so cheaply made.
Pressure reading accurate.
Inflates car tyres, so that is good.”
“I bought this as the 'free' one that came with my car broke when I dropped it, and the attraction of using it without having to plug in as it's not easy to reach both sides of my caravan when it has to be plugged into a car socket.
Out of the box, the manual is not the greatest, and initial confusion as there is a big button with a power symbol, which did nothing. However once I worked out you had to rotate the switch in the middle to the tyres symbol to turn it on, using it was easy.
I started with the car, front tyres a little low, rears very low (I started to wonder how accurate the reading was but have since checked with a garage gauge which shows the same as I set them to). I then moved on to the caravan, a breeze again both low but the unit was able to raise them to the very high 56 psi, the manufacturers recommend.
Noise is reasonable, nowhere near as loud as the one supplied with the car, and the battery still shows 2/3 full even after inflating all the 6 tyres, with the car back tyres and the caravan tyres by nearly 20 psi each. So yes, happy with it and worth the extra cost for the cordless function.”
“I am very pleased with my purchase.
The RTC6000 is easy and convenient to use. It quickly inflates tyres to the chosen pressure and I also appreciate the button which reduces air pressure if required. A good piece of kit. Thank you.”
“You asked if we were not in where it should be put! I said it should be left in the barn.
You acknowledged this ,but the inflator was put outside our back door instead.
That is why I had to ask where it was!”
“Had a corded RING tyre inflator in the past and wanted to replace it with one that did not need to pluged into a lighter socket so purchased the RTC6000. It device works very well, quick to inflat tyres or even just check the pressures. only comment the RTC6000 is larger than corded RING inflators (almost twice the size) so takes up a bit more room in your boot.”
