I had a Ring corded digital tyre inflator. This cordless inflator (as I hoped) makes everything much easier. The body of it is a bit larger, but with the 12 volt cord (for recharging or when battery flat) fitting in the handles it all goes snugly in the provided bag - except (and this is a bit annoying) the mains plug and and cord. (Why does the 12 volt recharge more quickly than the mains?) Using it was very easy (although not helped by the "instructions", which are only small diagrams. Being cordless saved all the extra bother. Despite my caveats, I'm very pleased with this Ring cordless inflator!

Battry life is PATHETIC. If you need to inflate more than 1 tyre you would be better off with a foot pump. Rubbish tyre inflator.

This battery operated Tyre Pump is so much easier than fiddling with a long power cable. It’s bigger and heavier than I expected but fits into one of the boot cubby boxes with safety triangle, first aid kit etc. I’ve used it once so far to check tyre pressures on two cars. It’s easy to use and pumped up the spare emergency tyre to 60psi without trouble. The battery still had most of its charge left. Other plus points: wide range of adapters for air beds, footballs etc.; usb power outlet; long air hose; light; and auto stop when pressure has been reached.

Was easy to charge and great to use. It coped well with the 80psi pressure on my motorhome. My only annoyance was that the mains charger will not fit in the carry case.

Getting started with the RTC 6000 was hampered by a very poor instruction leaflet. So far I have (I think) got the battery charged but I am disappointed to learn that the set pressure can not be relied on and that it needs to be checked with a known reliable pressure guage. Not what I was expecting. Currently I am suffering from buyer's remorse and wish that I had bought an alterntive product and I haven't even attempted to use it yet.

Had it now around a month and have used it three times. Used to increase tyres pressures by 0.5bar when the vehicle is standing for a while. Pressure are at max 5.5b (80psi), so a decent pressure. Takes around 20 mins to sort all 4. No problems ticks over nicely. All done with the battery, I then bring it in and recharge. Uses a good half of the battery. Peculiar looking charging connection, just got to line it up correctly. See how it lasts. Overall, does what I had hoped for.

Chose the RTC6000 based on reviews. I had been using a halfords foot pump, but after almost killing myself pumping up my van tyres to 60psi, I treated myself for my 70th birthday to the RTC6000 So many tyre inflators have 10% - 20% reviews of 1 star due to the unit failing. However I noticed that RING were very good on replacement of failed units within the guarantee period. I ordered mine and charged it up according to the instructions, which were not that great, although its actually very logical and easy to use. It was unclear whether the 12 volt charger ran at 10 or 15 amps. My cars 12 volt socket is 10amp, so I purchased a separate connector (about £10) from amazon which crocodile clips direct to the battery with a built in fuse of 15 amps and terminates in a female 12 volt socket. In use the RTC6000 is simple and effective. I have inflated my campervan tyres to 60 psi with no problems and in fairly rapid time. Pressure selection was easy and the unit stops pumping when it reaches the selected pressure. The screw on connector is easy to connect and works very well, with a push button to deflate if you have inadvertently set an incorrect pressure. After being used on the van and 2 other cars there is still plenty of battery life. Early days, but I hope the RTC6000 continues to operate as it has over the past few weeks!
