“Once I discovered & removed the paper disc, hidden under the inner battery, all then turned on. Then I found that many car-valve cores weren't activated, however hard one pushed the gauge against them. To overcome this, I replaced the rubber seal with a thinner one to reach the valve, which was better but hard to align the gauge without losing air. However, once connected it proved to be accurate - which was my reason for the purchase, as a check on a dial gauge.”
