Sorry to hear you had issues with compatibility to your softphone.
Headsets are compatible as audio devices with all softphones however some softphone brands do require extra plug ins, software or just may not give full functionality with headsets. Its normally the ability to answer/end calls or adjust volume that are affected in these circumstances.
If ever in doubt feel free to give us a call prior to purchase to check out your softphones compatibility.
If you dont already have it, its worth downloading poly lens either on your computer or mobile phone. This will give you the ability to adjust sidetone in your headset which will help with hearing your own voice.
