The Skar Audio DDX-12 D4 is a competition grade, 12-inch, dual 4-ohm, car subwoofer. The DDX line-up was engineered by Skar Audio to be a SPL grade woofer that could also be utilized in daily system applications, allowing non-competitors to use the same subwoofers as those competing in the lanes. The DDX-12 is equipped with an advanced air flow cooling system to help dissipate heat, enabling it to provide continuous reliable power.

Conservatively rated at 1,500 watts peak power and 1,000 watts RMS power, this subwoofer was engineered to be extremely loud. Featuring a massive double stack 202 oz motor, 2.5" pure copper high temperature voice coil, and a competition grade pressed paper cone, stitched to the high roll foam surround, the DDX-12 comes equipped ready to handle serious amounts of power.

“These need a month to break in before they respond properly so don't judge them right out of the box. After break in they're the cleanest, strongest subs I've owned. They flex my car like King Kong jumping on it in a construction zone, super clean and solid bass. I'm running two DDX-12 D4's in parallel at 1 ohm on a 1250Wrms Orion amp and haven't upgraded my wiring since my lower power setup, so they may only be getting 600Wrms or less each. I'm running the 120A Orion and a 30A highs amp off a 90A alternator in my 1.6L car with just one battery. So my electrical system hates me and my DDX's aren't even breaking a sweat, yet people avoid pulling up beside me for 2-3 car lengths at stoplights. As a 50yr old audio quality enthusiast I couldn't be happier. At my age I just turn it down and point to the other kid that just drove by. Whatever you're into, whatever your age, just get these, I've been into car audio since before subs were popular and have owned many. These are as good as they get in this price range.”
