The Skar Audio EVL-65 D4 subwoofer was designed to be the most responsive, powerful, and efficient 6.5 inch subwoofer on the market. Don't be fooled by the size, the EVL-65 is one monster of a subwoofer, featuring a 4-layer 2" pure copper voice coil, and a powerful 39 Oz single slug ferrite motor. The small size of this driver allows it to be very versatile, as it can be used in a variety of applications where adding a woofer might not otherwise be possible.

Conservatively rated at 200 watts RMS Power, and 400 watts max power, the EVL-65 features an aluminum diecast chassis which utilizes an advanced air flow cooling system to help dissipate heat. The suspension design of this subwoofer is highlighted by its unique yellow spider - which connects to the coil former with premium stitched lead wires. “These little subs hit really nice and cover the mid or low bass depending on the enclosure. The quality of materials used seemed pretty decent for the price. Could be best bang for your buck with the right setup”

“They sound good I get the bump I was looking for. I am however disappointed that there was zero mounting hardware included, every time I've ever bought speakers you at least get screws, every skar product I've bought never has screws or anything else, for the price I would've expected that. I had to make a special trip to get screws to mount the speakers. Otherwise great product with a very nice bass sound.”

“Amazing 6.5" subwoofer by Skar. I purchased this small sub to go in a custom box in the center of my 2024 Hyundai Santa fe for enhanced mid bass up front. I also have 2 Skar Audio DDX-12 D4 subwoofer's in a ported box running off a Stinger 1.5k and damn its extremely loud with deep crisp bass. I am shocked at the quality for price. I will be installing the new Stinger 1.2k 5 channel amp to run all new interior speakers as well as the Skar EVL-65 D4 off the dedicated sub channel. As for now its run on an Infinity Kappa K600 that I happen to have already. Don't worry about what others may say, SKAR Audio paved the way for affordable audio equipment that competes with the big names "And surpasses alot of them". I have not used SKAR amplifiers or interior speakers however maybe I will sooner then later. I professionally install all the big name brands and have for 11 years. I wanted to see what the hype was about with SKAR products personally, as I've heard customers rave about them. I gotta say the subs have not disappointed one bit!! Would highly recommend and would purchase more in the future if need be.”
