The Skar Audio IX-10 D4 is a high performance 10-inch, dual 4-ohm component car subwoofer. The IX series makes for a great daily subwoofer, and was engineered to be extremely efficient and reliable, all while sounding great and getting down. Featuring a high temperature 2-inch copper voice coil and powerful single slug, ferrite magnet motor - this subwoofer can perform at peak levels for extended periods of time safely.

Punchy, responsive, and capable of getting low, this 10-inch subwoofer will work great in a variety of applications. Furthermore, it utilizes an advanced cooling structural design which optimizes performance even further. Last but not least comes the premium strength paper cone and high roll foam surround, which allow for the versatility of this driver to get nice and low while also being responsive.

“Love them! I bought 2, put them in a 2 speaker box, each sealed in about 1 cubic foot, powered by an old kenwood, capable of up to 230watts rms to each, they sound outstanding. In trunk of 2009 civic, facing away from seat. Yes, need to mount amps and perform cable management.”

“Just like all of the rest of the SKAR gear I have purchased these subs are incredible, they sound better than my JL W3's I had previously in the car and they are not even broke in all the way yet!!!! I paid less then $50 a sub and they out rock $400 subs. SKAR ALL THE WAY”

“This is the sub for somebody that wants to hear the bass you are missing in a stock system. It hits the lows well and provides just a little bit of feel. It not the sub for the guy who wants to shake his mirrors or doors it's a solid upgrade to allow your stock sound system to sound fully imersive. I am impressed with the quality as well as the notes it can hit. Highly recommend to anyone just looking to hear the bass.”
