The Skar Audio IX-12 D4 is a high performance powerful and responsive 12-inch dual 4-ohm component car subwoofer. The IX series make for a great daily subwoofer and were engineered to be extremely efficient and reliable. Featuring an advanced air flow cooling design as well as a high temperature 2-inch copper voice coil this subwoofer performs at its rated power levels with ease. Dual 4-ohm voice coil. “I was looking to put an inexpensive pair of subs in my Toyota p.u., Skar has better quality and prices then the competition (in my opinion) so It made sense to look their first. I ordered the IX-12" subs thinking i'd be gentle on them, was I wrong! After install I was amazed by the bass they produced, these speakers at 1 ohm and 250watts each make more expensive subs look BAD! They are no joke, for the money you cant go wrong! Pics soon!”

“It blew I had it professionally installed on 1000 watt amp with everything turned to negative as far as bass goes and they blew in less than a week but while they lasted they sounded great honestly”

“Ok so I skeptical being a first time user of skar. So I figured what better way to test them out than as a replacement sub for my wifes car since that sub fried. I must say I was thoroughly impressed. Compared to what she had before was very impressive. The bass was 10x cleaner and louder for the same wattage. Needless to say I will be purchasing my entire system from skar. Evl 12's here I come. Thanks and keeping putting out quality equipment.”
