The Skar Audio IX-8 D4 is a high performance 8-inch, dual 4-ohm component car subwoofer. The IX series makes for a great daily subwoofer, and was engineered to be extremely efficient and reliable, all while sounding great and getting down. Featuring a high temperature 2-inch copper voice coil and powerful single slug, ferrite magnet motor - this subwoofer can perform at peak levels for extended periods of time safely.

Punchy, responsive, and capable of getting low, this 8-inch subwoofer will work great in a variety of applications. Furthermore, it utilizes an advanced cooling structural design which optimizes performance even further. Last but not least comes the premium strength paper cone and high roll foam surround, which allow for the versatility of this driver to get nice and low while also being responsive.

“These subs are just what I wanted. I have 2 of these in a small sealed box in the back of a Corvette. They add a nice bump to the music even with the top down. I'm very impressed with how clean they sound for the money.”

“This sub hits. I was throughly pleased with the power out of this small subwoofer. Unfortunately it didn’t work for my application I had to end up installing a shallow mount sub and couldn’t wait in shipping for a new one and theirs is out of stock but I’m seriously thinking about swapping out the ones I have for theirs when it’s in stock. But listening to this sub when I hooked it up it was legit”

“I ordered 6 speakers and this sub and the factory speakers sounded way better I got the mail exact same watts and ohms very sad cause skar was my favorite before this will be going back to Rockford now”
