The Skar Audio SDR-18 D2 subwoofer was designed to redefine the term "daily" subwoofer, both in terms of power output and acoustic responsiveness across the entire low end frequency range. Featuring a 2.5" 4-layer high temperature copper voice coil, the SDR-18 can operate at peak performance for hours on end with the peace of mind knowing that it can handle the brutality. Combine that with the top-tier, high flux ferrite motor of this driver, and it is by no surprise that this subwoofer can reproduce low end bass frequencies with authority. Furthermore, we integrated a unique red nomex spider suspension system into the design that utilizes the perfect blend of stiffness and flexibility. The aforementioned components of the SDR-18 as well as its advanced air flow cooling design, are what ultimately allow for the incredible responsiveness & power handling of this subwoofer.
