The Skar Audio VD-10 D4 is a 10-inch, dual 4-ohm, shallow mount car subwoofer. This woofer was engineered to sound great and handle ample amounts of power all while maintaining a shallow foot print, which allows them to be very versatile in use. This driver utilizes a high temperature 2-inch voice coil, which in conjunction with its powerful, yet low profile single stack ferrite magnet, allow it to perform with dominance.

The VD series make for a great under seat subwoofer or for use in applications where mounting depth is limited. A competition grade pressed paper cone, high roll foam surround, and 2-layer conex spider allow the VD-10 to perform reliably for hours on end. “Great sub! Would be even better in an appropriate box. I bought the shallow mount sub to mount it in the factory location of my 2005 Honda Pilot, just needed a 1/2" spacer to get it to fit. I'm thoroughly impressed with it, just wish Honda would have put an actual enclosure in the vehicle.”

“Decent quality my reason for 4 star one of toe connections broke off before I could even get installed. Im not sure if it came that way or if it happened during unpackaging. I was able to make it work but still sucks having it be damaged”

“These shallows are really weak I have them wired to a 1 ohm final load to a 1200 watt amp and the subs don’t really flex like they could. My regular kickers at 250 rms on a cheap boss sub hit harder than these. I still like skar I’ve seen some of they’re bigger subs and they really hit hard but these shallows are really weak”

“Got 2 of the VD-10 D4 10" 800W Max Power Dual 4 Ohm Shallow Mount subs. Put them in the ported skar box after they wouldn’t fit in my sealed single boxes. It was worth it definitely. Will be buying more skar products for sure!”
